A trip to Southend cannot be complete without fish and chips! This is a local, family-owned business right on the seafront. We got scampi and chips and were amazed with the freshness and flavour. Had a wonderful lunch at Lena’s Fish & Chips with my mum, and everything was spot on. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and flaky inside, the chips were golden and chunky, and the mushy peas were just right. Even the side salad was fresh and nicely dressed. We also appreciated the generous portions and friendly service. You can tell they care about quality and customer experience. Highly recommend if you're in the area it’s proper comfort food by the sea!
